We never thought as a bunch of teenagers that waking up at 7 am was sleeping in but yet here we are! This morning we were woken up by some very loud seagulls that fought over our left over loaf of bread. They even ended up carrying away the whole bag!
Once loaded and on the road, we ate delicious bagels and cream cheese for breakfast, and some people on the van didn’t have knives and had to improvise! Our first stop of the day was Walmart and then we drove and drove and drove some more!!!
While we were driving we were able to watch movies such as Shrek, Cars 2, and Cars 3. We weren’t able to watch Cars 1 because it was blu-ray (insert sad face). Other than watching movies, many slept most of the day!

For lunch, we ate turkey sandwiches with mayo, mustard, cheese and lettuce, along with chips. We then made a quick stop at the Salt Flats, it looked like there was snow everywhere but it was indeed SALT! We know for sure because we licked the ground!!! The salt only covered a thin layer and many of our shoes got buried under the mud. It also smelled SO bad out there!

We continued our drive to Tooele, Utah where we figured out we were sleeping INSIDE!!!!! When we arrived at our campsite, they were having a Rodeo, where from a far we saw many horses. We had quesadillas and nachos for dinner, one of the best meals yet!
We finished the night with a chanting competition which was AMAZING. Everyone did so well and the scores were so close, but ultimately the DOPEYS won the competition!!
